1. Much better than the Sony DA7100ES I was using as a pre/pro. I like it.
2. Don't know. Lazy? I do occasionally on other forums
3. The 105 has the same video as the 103, and the 103 is $600 less. I have a Bryston BDP1 file player and BDA1 DAC in the HT/surround system for music.

I know u understand my mostly love but sometimes I strive for a little more. Will c what CES reveals. BTW have u crucially demoed Alexia's yet? I thought they did many things well that hopefully will reach Sasha 2

I heard the Alexia under less than ideal conditions and loved them. They are big and require careful setup and placement so hopefully the Sasha2 will slot in nicely alongside the TADs.

Joe... I was always wondering how you keep all the speakers in your home ? You have 4 speakers where are they ? Are they all in the same room ?

I have 4 pairs in my home and some time I just don't know what to do with them placement wise.

Yes. Same room and 4 one the left side and 4 on the right side. When I switch speakers, I just walk them into position. Just like an audio salesman.

...I believe this to be a 'front-end' business/customer relationship advantage.

I didn't make many changes in 2013. I had hoped to add a new DAC and had the Meitner MA-1 and Marantz NA11-S1 in house for a few weeks, but kept neither. For 2014 I want to focus on getting the most out of my existing equipment, and think that room acoustics is where I will dedicate my efforts.

Changes in 2013:
-added a CAPS v3.0 Zuma to supplement my Squeezebox, it was a definite improvement
-re-terminated my Kimber 8TC cables with new Furutech spades

For 2014
-continue the DAC search
-professional analysis of room acoustics
-room treatment
-dedicated power
