You might be an audiophile if you can recall the exact names and model numbers of every piece of gear you have owned the past ten years but can't remember what you had for dinner last night.
 
You might be an audiophile if you have ever had this conversation:

"Have you met Andrew?"

"Who is Andrew?"

"The guy with the Krell amps and the Wilson Sasha speakers"

"YEAH I KNOW HIM!!!"
 
You might be an audiophile if you mention McIntosh and everyone else at the table thinks your about to tell them you bought a new MacBook Pro.

Jerome.......Sorry, Now that I reread your post I see you are correct. I don't know why but I read it "better THAN your audio system". I think I am getting tired from all this CD ripping I have been doing for the past three days getting ready for my new Aurender N10 music server.

I guess I'm not an audiophile, because I only listen to music I like without worrying how good it sounds on my system and I'd never own anything made by McIntosh.
