Wow; I've just been discarded!

I think it's art!!! Keeps you wondering what the rest of her looks like, and what's going on at her house. Think I'd like to paint a picture similar to that.

Women are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more than ART; they are the essence of why we even exist in the first place!
...They are the fuel, the true passion that animates all world's oceans.

I couldn't agree more !!

I don't have my avatar for any other reason !! I think a woman is the most beautiful thing in the universe.

I like women even more than music !!

Yes, of course. :) ...They're the reason why men are making music!

* Women too make sweet music.
... Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Melody Gardot, Cassandra Wilson, Patricia Barber, Holly Cole, Diana Krall, Eva Cassidy, Alison Krauss, Etta James, Shirley Horn, Norah Jones, Lucinda Williams, Joan Osborne, Kasey Chambers, Aimee Mann, Stacey Earle, Nanci Griffith, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Rosanne Cash, Sam Phillips, Jennifer Warnes, Joni Mitchell, Shawn Colvin, Suzanne Vega, Tracy Chapman, Ani Difranco, Rickie Lee Jones, Phoebe Snow, Kathleen Edwards, Eleanor McEvoy, Sara K., Rebecca Pidgeon, Laverne Butler, Christy Baron, Rosemary Clooney, Mary Gauthier, Shemekia Copeland, Bettye LaVette, ...

Just to return quickly on topic ;) I did ask once what 'volunteer' means, and those few other titles.
But never anyone replied to my question!

And nowhere on that site can you find this information. ...For me it says a lot about how things are run.
But even more than that; since April I had plenty of time to read several threads (on all subjects because I'm into EVERYTHING), and I learned a few things on the overall atmosphere from April 2013 to beginning of August 2013. ...As an active participant. ...Before that I was simply passive, and only reading, for about a year or so.

Now back to the essence; Women! :D ...Including my 'discarded' avatar, and the guy who was using it. :D

"Un-Official" (just guessing)

Thanks Trung! ...That's the first time someone 'un-officially' replies to my request; and it has to be here, at another audio site!

Then I'm (was) a 'Newbie' (Junior Member with under 300 posts). :) ... And now a 'Restricted' (Banned for how long I have no idea).

Btw Trung, I did not see you posting often recently, same for Matt.

Final Evaluation: Not a place to grow up peacefully and earthly (healthily). ...Mostly sad for the good people, which I believe is the majority, unfortunately.
I mean I wish them the best; full illumination of their surroundings. ...And for that you have to interact with people, and not only posting for the sake of talking to yourself.

Communication is an exchange between at least two individuals.

I believe that's what mainly is missing at most audio forums. ...The concentration is on our own lives, what we possess, and so on.
...Or we simply disapprove other's personality, avatar, way of expressing themselves, audio gear they own, type of music they like (RAP), etc., etc., etc.

But here everyone's getting along just fine; music lovers, audio/video gear owners, audio designers and manufacturers, musicians, troubadours, poets, philosophers, collectors, singers, painters, artists and hobbyists of all domains, and all that jazz. ...How come?

Yes, of course. :) ...They're the reason why men are making music!
. . . .

If it weren't for women we'd have VERY, VERY few operas [about 99.9999999% are love stories] and very few pop songs.

I hope they reinstate you soon.

I doubt it Gary; for that they would have to apologize to me first.

Same thing with you-know-which other sites.

...He was right.

I guess you have decided that having them submit to making an apology is more important than being reinstated. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for apologies, nor would I show remorse if I knew I was right about something.

Personally, I'm not big on apologies. I'll gladly give them if I felt I hurt someone, but I wouldn't give one to satisfy someone who I knew was wrong. I don't really care if I get an apology from most people who have done me wrong. I just like to move on, but that doesn't necessarily mean terminating the relationship, although it may take longer to return to its previous condition than if an apology was given. I guess I have a big ego in that regard. I'm not one to feel I need encouragement or a pat on the back for anything as long as I know I'm doing a commendable job.

Sometimes in life we are extremely flexible, and we accept a lot, even if we don't necessarily like it.

Other times we are firmer, and we make the right decisions on people who did us wrong in the past.

It's a balance, a fair one, and each one of us we have our own; unique all in itself.

Very true, Bob.
