Assuming both Brazil and Argentina make it through the quarterfinals, that should also be killer. My guess is that one of these 4 teams will be the eventual winner, but needless to say there have already been plenty of surprises in this World Cup.
 
Argentina first will have to defeat the Netherlands, my bet is the Netherlands will win, but I am biased, :-)
 
Will anyone actually score a goal against Morocco? Still only that one own goal keeping them from all clean sheets.
 
Good matches today.
Morocco has done amazing. But my prediction is France vs Argentina in the final.
 
Yesterday's Netherlands-Argentina match was an instant classic. Today's France- England match was a lot of fun to watch. It had a bit of everything and could have ended in OT just like the Netherlands on a last second free kick but it just missed. Great soccer.

After watching England today I have no idea how he US played the even in the group stage. They had pressure on France all match.
 
I have peace that the Netherlands are out (not good enough this tournement), but have to say the referee was not great, Messi got away with anything (handsball, etc.), one of the Argentinians kicked the ball with full power on purpose in the Dutch dugout without even a yellow card.
 
My son in law is Moroccan so this has been an amazing experience. He went to Qatar for the round of 16 game and had the experience of his life.

They are in Morocco now. Everything has been shutting down early so people can watch the games.

It's ok, I'm a Messi fan anyway.

Oh, Brazil is gone too; Neymar with tears in his eyes. And same for Portugal and Ronaldo.

The miracle team here is Morocco, wow!

I think your prediction is a very fair assessment. It has been mine since the beginning.
But I did not expect the quick exit of Brazil.
Portugal was another surprise.

In this sport anything can happen and it did.
And it's not over yet. The will is even higher now; the stage is on the real deal...play ball.

While that game is an instant classic, there were many questionable antics from both sides. The ref was also trigger-happy and he seemed overwhelmed and incompetent. I did enjoy the game immensely as it’s football at its highest level and highest passion.

Here’s an aerial footage before and after Laurato’s PK. You can see many Dutch players got into his face including the Dutch keeper.

Yes they did, but these are also normal Argentinian tactics anyway (they were in the referee's face constantly), it's different to kicking a ball full power into the dugout without consequences and just letting a handsball go without yellow.

Anyway doesn't matter anymore, the tournement moves on, France should be the strongest easily (they can go up a few gears during the game, have not seen that from any other team this world cup) but it seems not easy to score against the team of Morocco.
