Wilson Alexia Review

Yes, they are very special.

I must admit I was never really a fan of the Wilson speaker, but the Alexia is something else. Loved what I heard.

XLF with Thors Hammer (2) would be back to back grand slams in my books!
 
I heard them last weekend again. This time with ARC and D'Agostino. My favorite electronics with them so far is D'Agostino. The stereo version did a wonderful job. Doshi and ARC would follow.
 
Listen to the Alexia's for about an hour and half in dallas this past weekend. the gear was ARC Ref5SE CD 9 and D'Agostino stereo amp. Cables were Shunyata , imagining was unbelievable, Musically very engaging. i want to sell my gear and buy buy buy. anyone want to donate to a worthly cause ?

Mike - I agree! For me, it's D'Agostino, McIntosh 601's (these were REALLy good on the Alexia's), then Doshi.

Mike, i can say this for sure would not have entertain the thought of listening to the Wilson Alexia's, but your enthusiasm
for these speakers and D'Agostino amp prompted me to stop and listen. glad i did. I can see why Ritmo loves his ARC with the Salon 2's
I wonder what the D'Agostino stereo amp with the Salon 2's would sound like ?

Glad you stopped by for a listen. I was very impressed with that system in Dallas 9 days ago.

In terms of the Salon 2s with D'Agostino, I'm seriously thinking about it. Mark (MDP) has heard the combo and is very positive about it.

Mike, I really enjoyed what i heard, The Alexia's are for sure out of my range but I could maybe swing the ARC and D'agostino amp
they have a Nov 14th event in Dallas, Dan A'gostino is supposed to attend
