A lots of it comes down to the singing technique. How much strain the singing is putting on an artist's vocal chords, greatly depends on how the sound is formed.
And then there of course is the flu and the cough no-one is safe from.
Probably Adell's last album. NO, I think it sold enough coming off the prior 21. she'd be willing to try again She does have a powerful voice, I wonder if it has something to do with smoking?
I think it just depends a an individuals constitution. If you check out my thread in the Music forum about Maria Brink, then you will wonder about voices. The way that girl can scream I don't know how she made it through the first album, let alone several and touring. When she sings though I think she has a nice voice. There's a link to both examples.
Whether it's your voice or other talent, it's a shame when issues occur that affects your livelihood.
This puzzles me too. I have heard Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks in the last few years live, and imo their voices are not what they used to be. But on the other hand Mick Jagger sounded the same as in his younger days which surprised me.
Willie and Bob D sound as bad as ever too! Lol
