Just like the subject.
McIntosh made a decent server through the use of Escient's server operating system. You can read all about the McIntosh MS750 all over this site or the internet.
Given that there is little to no return on investment, I feel that if the audio nerd community was able to get ahold of the OS then one could install it on any hardware that supported it. After all it was running on some form of X86 motherboard and SATA Hardrive.
Any insights to the software engineers or who holds these discontinued products?
