50 years?!? I'm assuming I could buy a house for what that costs.
Several houses, 3 years ago when we were there they 'estimated' it's worth @ 3 million pounds. I wonder how much the 'Angels have taken' ?

if you're looking for last minute gifts and have 30,000 pounds British sterling lying about you can buy a bottle of this, better hurry, there's only 5 bottle left ...........
Have to admit that I was a bit underwhelmed with this one.
Probably had very high expectations ....
Tried it both neat and with a splash of water. Any recommendations?
Just cracked this delicious sipper from Fort Ann NY, a tiny hole in the wall we pass on the way to Vermont.

I've never been able to find this in the US. Have a friend from Panama that raves about it. Trying it tonight. Was only 108 florin, or ~60 usd
This is in no way helpful, but I know my (mostly abstemious) parents have a bottle of that Grand Old Parr in the basement. The catch is that it's the same bottle that was there long before I was of drinking age, which was a few decades back...
interesting, nothing wrong with a good 'blend', let us know your thoughts after a dram or two ! In the world of blends the 'Dimple Pinch' has always been a favorite.
Had a few glasses last night on the patio. It's mild, not Smokey at all, nor overly peaty. Quite smooth overall. A bit lighter than I like. I prefer Oban 14 or little bay, but still quite good. I wouldn't say no to a glass.
