I came across some stellar Bourbon. Jim Beam 100 Distillers Masterpiece. great colour, very smooth for 100 proof. Drink straight no ice. Very limited stock.

They must have released a "batch" a few weeks ago.
Local store still had 2 1.75l bottles of 10 year old on Friday, but no 12 year old.

Yup! Those Glenmorangies are on my list - easier on the palate in warmer climes.
Ardberg has been consistently getting positive reviews in the past few years.
It's definitely a more accessible list than most. That to me is a good thing.

agreed ! spent two days there a couple years back, toured the distillery and came away with a bottle that was limited to that from a single cask and only available at the distillery(16 year old). It is reserved for special occasions.
