Thank´s Audiophon for your friendly reminder.

Of course, I promised to report after the break in of the loudspeakers. After one month breaking-in-session, I am happy to write a short report on the latest creation of Dr. Roland Gauder.
Short before the Easter weekend finally it was time and both the Vitus Audio components and the Gauder Berlinas RC 8 had been delivered. Since then the gear played 24/7 to the great joy of my wife :disbelief: But the 500 hours of breaking-in-time was definitely essential and have produced a clearly audible improvement in the sound of the overall system and in particular of the loudspeakers. The Accuton ceramic chassis need the break-in absolutely.
For me one of the biggest advantages of the RC 8 is their ability to play music of many genres very well. Regardless of whether you listen to Marla Glenn's "The Cost of Freedom", Hugh Masekela's “Stimela / Coal Train”, Paco de Lucia's “Entre Dos Aguas” or Metallica's “Enter Sandmann”, the RC 8 make every kind of music reproduction to a perfect pleasure.
The soundstage of RC 8 is impressive, wide and deep. The bass reproduction sounds extremely colorful, perfectly differentiated and, if necessary, also really powerful and dynamic. The dynamics can be easily proofed with the recording of Joseph Haydn in the Andante of the symphony Hob. I: 94. The mid- and high-frequency chassis plays with high resolution thanks to the Vitus electronic without being obstrusive. Especially the matching of the diamond tweeter and the Accuton midrange drivers is excellent in my opinion.
It is easy possible to “feel” the recording room with the RC 8. For example the recording of Anton Bruckner "Locus Iste" in the Husuvsbor-chathedral radiates an impressive spatiality.
As you can see from the lines above, I am really happy about my decision to buy the Vitus & Gauder combination and I enjoy the music to the full. Independent of this some decisions still have to be made. I discussed these open topics in the forum already. My streaming solution still leaves a lot of room for improvement and I hope that I will go next week on the High End one step further.
I would love to compare the alternative Adam has suggested
Stock MacMini / Roon / HQ Player --> SOtM SMS-200 Ultra (UpTone UltraCaps LPS-1) --> Intona High Speed USB Isolator --> Wyred 4 SoundRecovery (LPS-1) --> Vitus SCD-025
with other music server variants at my home. The other alternatives I have in my mind are the following:
1. Sound Galleries SGM 2015
2. Lampizator Supercomputer
3. SOtM sMS-1000SQ WinServer 2016 with AO 2.2
All alternatives should run with Roon and HQ player and I will test it with the additional new ISO Regen. Originally, I still had the Lumin U1 on my shortlist. I am very disappointed here by Lumin. I sent 3 inquiries by e-mail to Lumin and no reaction or answer at all. The consequence --> the Lumin U1 alternative must be buried.
Interesting was my telephone conversation with the people of Lampizator. These guys are convinced that their Golden Gate DAC should sound much better than the Vitus SCD-025. Perhaps I succeed in arranging an auditioning for the Supercomputer and the Lampi GG.:audiophile: Is there anyone who has experience with a comparison of VA SCD-025 versus Lampi GG?
That´s a long post, sorry about it, but you do not have to read it completely.
