We buy 95%+ of our music from a local used/new record store. We are very well taken care of there. Such as, every week we bring home a small stack of used records to listen to, if we like the album (music/condition) then we buy it the following week otherwise we just return it to the bins.

I download MP3's from iTunes......just kidding!

I buy my music from Acoustic Sounds, ElusiveDisc, Amazon and a few others.
When I have time, I venture off to Bananas Records in St Petersburg, but that's usually a full day event....but an enjoyable one!

I shop for 180gram LP's first, regular LP's second, SACD third and CD's fourth.

I buy most from Princeton record exchange, obviously in Princeton nj.
They have mostly used but also a good selection of new records and plenty of 180g both new and used. I don't buy cd's but they have a huge selection of new and used as well.
Online I like
Records by mail
Soundstage direct
Acoustic sounds
Elusive disc

I purchase 95% of my CD's from either Amazon or Amazon UK. Hi Rez digital wherever I can find ones I am interested in.

I have a very valuable resource in my local library system. They have tons of cd's to check out. It makes listening to some stuff I wouldn't give the time of day to if I was shelling out my hard-earned cash for. I've found some pretty amazing stuff this way.

Blue coast records
and lately all though a very small selection, but very high quality, the Amsterdam audiophile label;Sound Liaison.

The Blue Coast records DSD recordings are of stunning quality. Great musicians too. I feel their DSD recordings exceed most SACD to DSD conversions I've heard. What's Cookie's secret? :)

Linn records
Blue coast records
Sound Liaison(very small selection but maybe the best audiophile recordings currently available)

Vinyl = Record Show, Swapmeet, Yard sales, Dr Freecloud's Record shop.
CDs = Amazon
For stuff I don't want to purchase - there's MOG.
I have not yet hit my local library up, but I'm going to soon because the place is huge to start with and I mean huge, 3 levels! They have a whole separate room with media (CDs & DVDs). When I say room, I mean it has it's own doors and about the size of a small Blockbuster video store!

CDs: Amazon
High Rez download: HD tracks, Linn Records, Naim Label.
...I just wish HD Tracks would get with the program and do something with their web site. I thought with the new download mgr. maybe things would be changing, 'guess not. :(
