...the dogs lay in the same room as me & the noise, when i put digital on they are outa there. Digital never used to be a problem for them but now that they have heard vinyl, they wont tolerate anything else.....:snicker::snicker::snicker::heart: love em to pieces...

Vinyl rules. Smart little buggars. Enjoy the music Kev.

When I still had my dog, she would do the same thing, I could blast the music on vinyl and she would just close her eyes.

Research has shown that dogs that prefer the sound of analog are much smarter than dogs who prefer digital. Digital dogs are prone to spending hours chasing their own tail.

Funny stuff, You guys all know that I have been a stalwart for digital for years & now that I have heard good pressings on a decent system, soon to be a very good system, I gotta say I have smart dogs, I don't leave the room, & am a very happy little vegemite with my new medium. :snicker: I do occasionally chase my own tail though. :panic:

If men were born with a rubber neck and a ball bearing ass, many would never leave home.

Ha! Apparently my Dalmatian hates Bob Dylan: Blood on the tracks! he came to sit with me a half dozen times on both sides but ended downstairs making noises as in exasperation. Hmmm..... In all fairness it is not the best cut I've heard on vinyl....

True. :) If you are unfortunate enough to own it, play The Great Gatsby Movie Soundtrack on vinyl and watch and see your dog leave the room after a whirl from that digital high gain mixing sh#t.

We have been dog sitting for friends since Jack died. I used a young, not so intelligent "Lagotto Romagnolo" with exceptional hearing acuity to help get my loudspeaker imaging just right. She would tilt her head like a ratchet as my visual cue. Once everything was tight, she was often fooled into thinking that sounds emanating out of the loudspeakers were beyond the walls, outside... She would run for the door, barking and strutting, doing her intruder alert thing.
