What's your office system?

I spend more time in my office than my listening room. Having good sound during work is a blessing. I have an old pair of Spendor Prelude 2/2's that I bought second handed many years ago. Had a Peachtree, but upgraded to an NAD M10. Fantastic piece, and I love its sound, presence, and display on my desktop. I have a crappy Energy 6" sub. Gives some light boom to the bottom end, but needs to go.
I certainly prefer a darker sound in my office, but am thinking I would like a little less twang in the upper midrange, and a better soundstage.

What's in your office, and why?

iMac > Monoprice USB > NuPrime IDA-8 > Kimber 8TC's > Axiom Audio M3's. I mostly stream Qobuz, but it's cool having great sonics even when watching YouTube videos or listening to internet radio stations. They only go down to 60-ish, but they sound amazing across the board. I had a cheap JBL sub and it just sounded boomy, so I went back to the M3's alone. My M2's are also fine for the desktop, but the M3's are just bigger and better, and go a bit deeper.

BTW Ricky, some incredible equipment you have there!

Mine is a bit modest but fine for what it is used for.
PC running J River > Audioquest Cinnamon USB > Firestone Fubar DAC > Tara Labs Quantum 66 ICs > Lepai 20x20 amp > DIY Speaker Cables > Dynaudio 42 Speakers.

I have about 300GB of music files I shuffle thru or I am watching Youtube music videos. Usually lower volume but it sounds pretty decent for what it is at any volume. The Dynaudios are great little speakers and I am surprised at how the tiny chip amp drives them.

Eversolo DMP-A6 ME -> AudioEngine A5+ powered speakers on my desk. Minimal, but it works great, Roon Radio most of the time.

I simplified mine. The PC runs Jriver and I have a pair of Vanatoo Transparent One Encore speakers

My workshop has a laptop running Roon and Qobuz feeding a speaker bar in front of the computer. High tech.

1/2 of the time there is enough noise that I can't hear what is playing anyway. Plus with hearing protection on and my hearing aids removed to not magnify the shop noise its just something to not have silence stop to think.

PC (Qobuz/YouTube) USB - Holo Audio Spring KTE (the first one)
HeadRoom Balanced Amp - Senn 800 (OG) via Cardas cables (new pads, it all rotted)
DIY ACA monoblocks - Tekton 3.5 inch bookshelf speakers on Pangea stands

Now that I am retired, I do not spend as much time in my office in the new house. It is mainly for doing bills or using the computer. However, I do have a pair of B&W MM1 powered speakers attached to the PC. They really are pretty amazing for a speaker designed to be used specifically with computers.

When I was going to the office in my former life, I used to use my Astell&Kern portable with the Abyss headphones most days!

Like others my 'office' and listening room coexist. At 14'6" wide by 24'6" deep it works out just fine.

Which Tekton speakers are those? I tried doing a search and don't see them. Intriguing company.

I got them some years ago. Most of that system is at least 10 years old. He seemed to stop making that particular speaker not long after I got mine.

3.5 inch Fostex full range speaker in a beautiful, small, bass reflex enclosure. He does great woodwork, and veneer+finishing. A bit large for sitting on the desk, looking much better on stands than crowding my desk, in my previous office.

Office / wing-chair-late-night-lounging/drinking area.

Hugo 2 > Schiit Lyr+ > HiFiMan Suvara

Corsair One PC -> Holo Audio May -> Cayin Ha300 mk II-> Vivid Audio Kaya S12

Really great sound. Previously I had Luxman DA06->Luxman 550 AXII-> Harbeth P3 ESR's and also KEF LS50's. All were great, but I like tubes the most.
