Sorry to hear that Mike. Take a look out for the Knob Creek 9 year reserve also - just picked it up and it is very nice!

The Pappy Van Winkle is a once/year release, usually in the fall, and they disappear extremely quickly, especially the 15 and 20 year. I recommend making friends with a store owner or manager who can give you a heads up when they are on the way. Same with the William Larue Weller. The others should be more readily available. Good luck and let me know what you are able to find or what is available and I can let you know if I've heard of it and/or tasted it.

The manager of Total Wine told me they haven't been able to get William Larue Weller since 2009 (according to his system). I will put on my calendar to check with them on the Pappy20 in September.

I had 2 fingers 2 times tonight. Unbelievably good KSBW from the oldest continually operating distillery in the US for $20 a bottle at discount liquor stores.

I'm currently working on a couple bottles Widow Jane, Hudson's Baby Bourbon they are a bit different from the Kentucky bourbon. Worth a try.
Currently on my bar Colonel Taylor warehouse C, Jefferson's Presidential 18yr, Blanton's Gold Edition,Willets rare release, Four Roses Single Barrel.
Whiskey Forty Creek and Serzac
I'm one of lucky ones to get a bottle of this year's Eagle Rare 17yr old. That might be the finest bottle of bourbon I get in this lifetime.
