I've gotta try that. Right now my favorite affordable tequila which I just found is casamigos blanco. I drink it neat and at room temp too. It's really great and at a great price.

Casey, 2 other affordable tequilas are, Corozon Anejo and Gran Centenario !! As you can tell, I prefer the anejo tequilas !!

Cheers !!

Some serious bourbon and whiskey tasting at my house with friends tonight...

Quite the selection. What was your favorite?

It was tough to choose a favorite, Mike - on this night the William Larue Weller was the overall favorite, just slightly edging out the Pappy's 20 for my guests, although the Pappy remains my personal favorite. The Weller is extremely strong and lingers forever, and goes through about five stages of flavor to give you a lot to contemplate.

The Pappy's 15, Four Roses Single Barrel, and Jefferson's Presidential Select all belong in that same top tier. The Bulleit 10 year and Forrester Birthday Bourbon were the favorites for cost/value and were also quite good!

I will try those. I'm partial to this...

I like the Angel's Envy too Mike - as you can see from my picture we had it there and tasted it along with the others. It has a very unique flavor being finished in the port barrels, and while an enjoyable bourbon, IMO it doesn't finish as nice and isn't quite at the level of many of the others (nor is it as expensive as many of them either).

I'm definitely trying the others you mentioned!

Thanks. Yeah - that (was) a fresh bottle of Centenario that did not last the day. :)
