Whatever happened to the Western Electric amp and 300b tubes?

the new production 300B are still not available...

and, according to the website: As of July 15, 2019, Western Electric is no longer accepting new pre-orders.

I hope they sort out any production issues.

As far as I’ve understood they have quality issues with the 300Bs.

looks like WE have restarted 300B production and are taking orders for current delivery ... $1,499 per matched pair. they list an expected life of 40,000 hours(!) and offer a 5-year warranty. i will certainly be anxious to hear feedback as these make their way out into the wild.
