For the Global Sharks, there is one of the biggest lotteries being drawn tomorrow, currently at 1.6B.

So after taxes, charities, missing cousins and commitment to discipline, what system would you put together?

MBL Reference Line?
Tidal La Assoluta?
Bose?
Other???

I am also for the new room as the first order of business. Attached to the house with a screened and covered walkway. Would include at least a half bath and a kitchenette. I have drawn the plans up several times just never got around to doing it though it has come up a couple of times recently as opposed to moving and building again from scratch. Gear would come after the room was built, measured and treated. Would probably start with Vandersteen 7's though Verity Lohengrin IIS looks interesting too.

Aside from the usual answers, my wife asked me yesterday "What if they just took and used all that money to help or feed or cloth people and just start new again?"

Well that type of good thinking usually goes over like a fart in a divers helmet.

My Pet Crusade has always been to give up Fireworks around the world for only 1 year, and use the same amount of money that would have been spent on something useful and helpful. You can imaging the looks and reactions I get. Nobody wants to give up something as useless as fireworks to help others and it's a selfish shame that it is the main mindset.

OK, Off my Soap Box..... I will just have one of everything Mike sells :)

I'd try to let know one at least for some time. Just go to work everyday. Have an accountant figure out how much money I'd need for the next 40ish years (I'm 43). Give the rest away. Make sure I have nothing left when I die. Charity something like giving poor people a good free education. Education is IMHO very important to reduce the amount of people on the earth. Well educated people tend to have fewer children.

Buy a nice house in Italy buy two or three cars, two or three motorbikes. Buy a decent audio system.

The big system: Von Schweikert Audio Ultra 11s, VAC electronics for Tubes, Audionet for solid state, Kronos "the Analogue Solution"and Audio Note Level 5/6 for digital. I'm reviewing the big Audionets, they are the finest sounding SS amps I've ever heard.

My dream has been if I hit the lottery is to buy my own radio station to play the music I want and at the best quality possible. There's so much good music that has been forgotten or can't get play any more on corporate stations and so much new music that can't catch a break on radio.

I'd buy a house in a less populated area, have some animals, like my own lama. I'd have to have a couple rooms for hi fi because like a kid in a candy store I probably can't make up my mind.

I wouldn't mind setting up a nonprofit and help cleaning and fixing up neighborhoods that have become run down. I'd give to good causes but I'd have to be involved to verify things are legit.

Me,... whether I win it or not, I'm going Aries Cerat!
