Since I just came up with this idea, I think I need to do more thinking to come up with my answer.

My guess is Paul has already done his dream comparison, Canterbury vs Westminster!

Keeping it in the realm of something that might possibly happen with my current system, it would be the Berekely Reference DAC versus the current Auralic Vega. Otherwise, it would be the new Magico M versus the S5, if I get a windfall for whatever reason.

I think some phono pre-amp comparisons might be a good start, like the Doshi vs the Manley.

I would also love to hear a comparison of various step-up devices, but I feel that that may really only be relevant based on the cartridge being used, since those tend to be tightly coupled together (one size doesn't fit all).

I've done so many A/B comparisons, I've lost track.....but here goes.....

My Pass XS150 amps and XS preamp (scheduled to arrive today...YEAH!) vs Accuphase A-200/3800. This comparison I've thought about since I heard David's incredible A-200 monos and Accuphase preamp. But the XS amps/preamp are champs too. Would be a battle royal for sure.
