Last night was a 1998 La Spinetta Gallina Barbaresco. The aromatics jump out of the glass! The 98's are really starting to come into their drinking window. Bricking at the rim still with a strong core of fruit. Got much better over the hour and a half it took to drink. I had to put it down or it wouldn't have made it that long. Tasty juice.

Had these Sat....u could tell blind that they came from same producer, both still very young. The 94 was the one I liked best. Others liked the 04
