Embarrassed? Unless it's a bad wine there's no reason to be embarrassed.

I love rosé by the way.

Spottswoode 2013 Cab... enjoyed it, but probably should have waited at least 5 more years because it was super-tannic. FYI, it was double decanted and sat for 8 hours before dinner.

Don't be, as far as I know rose was everyday wine of Ernest Hemingway, so is mine :)
But today it was red Bordeaux.

Chapoutier and Cotes Du Roussillon, very nich combo:) makes me think about Russell Crowe and " A good Year".

My prefered village is St Emilion, today quite regular but still very good
Now I understand better why it' s so nice:

Finished a bottle of Tapiz Alta Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 last night. It is from Mendoza Argentina and for less than $15 a bottle is my new 'go to'. It opens very nice if decanted an hour or so and shows well above its price point.

A 96 point wine from James Suckling who says to give it 4 or 5 years. With decanting, it is ready now.
