That's probably why everybody like the vinyl sound more than the CD sound.

Don't know about that, but stereophile says that it has a dynamic index of 10, while the CD has a dynamic index of 6. I also read that many new records have different mix versions than their CD counterparts.

Sounds great Steve. It doesn't matter how many times you listen to something like that, there always seems to be something new in there.

Dave Brubeck Quartet "Time Out." Original pressing I just got in from my buddy out in Jersey. For a record this old the sound is just incredible! Every record should sound this good. Now I just have to find a way to tell him that the Postal Service must have lost it on the return trip.
