What Vinyl Do You Have On The Table?

New found joy with music Kev? :celebrate008_2:

Nothing like a reformed smoker - glad to see you kicked the digital habit :ninja:

Shane, just dropped the arm onto a Benz Micro LP S, hooaaaah....

Steve, thanks. I am trying really hard to keep my buying spree to good mastering/pressings.

I have recently purchased a whole collection off of a work colleague. Not a fan of her pop material but when she sings the blues or a ballad, "wow". I always have been a fan of certain songs

not one but 2 new albums from Prince - pressed at Pallas and mastered by Chris Bellman :congrats:

The Fantasy green-colored vinyl reissue of Charlie Brown XMAS album sounds great! Listening to it now.

Superb new Bryan Ferry Euro vinyl. Lovely glossy gatefold, quiet flat pressings, glossy lyric inner and a CD for the car. Can't get packaging much better than this.

the album is classic Roxy Music sounding like a Bryan Ferry solo album - he is not trying too hard and the album just flows effortlessly. Great recording as well.

This man is a legend and an amazingly good album for a man in his 70th year.

The final song is haunting and one of his best covers yet - Robert Palmer's Johnny and Mary :congrats:

I keep thinking about Myles's "Thanksgiving Turkey" with this one. :snicker:

needed some balance.... Man, now I'm looking for the "myles turkey" again.....

Robert Plant in fine form again on his new album. 2 slabs of beautiful vinyl pressed at Pallas Germany, mastered by Chris Bellman and they even give you a free CD for the car. Beautiful etching on the empty side 4.

Musically its almost celtic/afro with electro underbeat. I like it.

Listening to this album and his last couple, I can clearly see why Plant does not want to be involved in a Led Zep tour. Simply he has moved on musically and vocally and I guess no longer is interested in shouting his lungs out pretending he is in his 20's. Wise decision. I really wish Jimmy Page could move on.
