Saw Pink Floyd play this in concert. There was nothing dead quite live. And they liked multi surround sound in concert. Best live band I ever saw. I think I saw them five times.

Ha! Pressing is quiet.

45RPM...cuts off a song half way through! UGH. Still a great version though.

Prince - Planet Earth. hard to believe it's been 3 years since he passed - musical legend - RIP

That is a very nice sounding album, but I think very pricey for just two tracks!
I would agree... but after hearing it on a great system it's like bringing Satchmo back from the dead for an appearance in your room which is priceless! :exciting:
Also a relative bargain if you consider the cost of a quality mastered reel to reel tape.

I heard this album on a very nice system, what you said is exactly right. So, I guess if you think of it in that manner, you are totally correct.
Anyone own the multi track 33 version of this album, is it really that much worse in SQ than this two track 45rpm version?

Dead Can Dance ‎– The Serpent's Egg. original 1988 UK release, MPO pressing. beautiful album and remember buying this from Phantom records in their 4ad section back in the day.
Most audiophiles might not know this exists as it was not reissued by Mofi

This is a really substantial “album” by any measure, at €258,- and an estimated 5 Kg.

John Coltrane ‘58 Prestige recordings. SQ is also good.

Nice story telling about his co-collaborators, Rudy van Gelder, Freddie Hubbard, Paul Chambers, Louis Hayes, Donald Byrd, Art Taylor, Jimmy Cobb etc.

This is really a Jazz bible, hugely productive year for Coltrane. Similar to van Gogh, who’s active period lasted only for ten years and resulted in about 8K paintings.

Now I also received the vinyl version. Sounds superb on black disc.

Well worth it, love this album: Joe Robinson/ Undertones.
