A partnership which evolved out of a difficulty, when Petra Magoni's guitar player fell ill during a tour in Tuscany some years ago. Spinnetti jumped in and they performed as a voice/ stand-up bass combo for not to have to cancel the performance. The rest is history.

Musica Nuda/ Little Wonder, 33 rpm vinyl.

Vinyl fans - just buy this pressing if you can find it. Wow.

Donald Fagen - The Nightfly - original German pressing and Steely Dan - Gaucho - original US pressing

Interesting that its always Nightfly that comes as a great recording from audiophiles - probably that it was recorded 100% digital.
While Nightfly sounds good - Gaucho sounds better in almost every respect. it has bass, equally as clear in the top end and tonally has some meat on the instruments.

You could add "Aja" to the line-up of good sounding Steely Dan records.

Sounds quite a bit like The Five Corners Quintet, the band that made him famous.
