Hi Guys
Need a little advice here. Should I trade in my ARC VT100 for the Mac MC275 or trade my amp and pre-amp(mac c220) in for the Audio Research VSi75(this option would simplify my system a great deal).

I'm a little bias, so with that stated, I really like what ARC has done with their amps recently. The 75 is a fantastic amp. Should do well with the Harbeths.

ARC and MC does not sound the same.
If you like tubes keep ARC
If you like SS go MC

Probably I'm the only guy who had an experienced with Harbeth and McIntosh & ARC in this forum. I had ARC VSi- 60 and MC 275. I preferred with the MC275.

It sounds more romantic and fuller so my vote goes to add a MC275 for now since you have a C220 and later you can add another 275 if you want to

I do miss this set up I had Bob....

Given Paul's comment above....275 seems worth exploring.
