What happened to BOB "Northstar?"

While I doubt Bob had a bad bone in his body - he was always bit "too much."

Not sure which straw it was that broke the camel's back...

What happened to BOB "Northstar?"

Well I enjoy being here on AS because unlike the other place, the "Banned" banner next to a member's name has not been a common sight (not sure if Bob was first or if someone else has been banned before him). I hope that it remains that way. Knowing Mike, I think (hope) it will stay that way.

Cyril, that's our wish too !

I think we have to let go this
For Bob's sake and not making our friend Bob a victim
Is he is banned is because he earn it and We all know that music is in his blood
Let's wait for calm waters, nothing is permanent

This is the only forum that I know of that the moderators show sadness when they take a banned decision

We should be proud to be in this special group of people

Ok, let swim back in our calm waters and talk about joes new speaker or did you know that Klaudio is coming this year with ............

:)

Love you guys

I think we have let go of this. We've only wrote about it for a day. No one here is showing any disagreement, anger or dissension with the moderators. In fact, we have shown them how much we support what they are doing and how much we appreciate what they do too. No one here thinks Bob is a victim. And if we show compassion that's not a bad thing. In fact it is missing in too many places. Notice so that no one asked the moderators what specifically got Bob banned...we take their word for it. Now what cd players do you recommend? I haven't found one that I overwhelmingly life. Many are too detailed and don't sound musical.

Barry

The Line Magnetics tube CD players seem to be well received. When I infrequently play Redbook CD's, I still use a ten year old tube based player based on the Cal Audio Labs players.

Or the at least three other sites.

I am really looking for a great CD player, but I should have mentioned I wanted it also as an SACD/CD player. Any more suggestions?

Will anyone ever equal his Guinness book of world records 8457 posts in a little over a year. Mike, perhaps you should have a prize for anyone that tops that number!

I think Bob's sole remaining active forum might be audiokarma.org, where he is LordofTRings.
