I thought it would be nice to know a little more about my fellow sharks. What else do you like to do? Other hobbies? Other interests? Are you a great chef? Photographer? Sports nut? Bike enthusiast? Do you fish? Boat? Something crazy we would never guess?

I'll start....

* I play ice hockey three times a week (if there were any other leagues for old fat guys at my local hockey arena, I would join those too! I've played hockey for 40 years and just love it).

* I'm a coach-pitch coach for my sons little baseball league. I was a very good ball player back in college. Now, to many body parts hurt.

* I play golf twice a week. I'm still a decent player (7 handicap)....

* I enjoy grilling (BBQ).

* I just love long walks and bike rides with my wife. I know that sounds corny....but it's true. :)

A pro photographer, both commercial and fine art.

I am a chef….love my great pots, pans and knives….just about everything in my kitchen. I took a lot of cooking classes, in addition to photographing world class chefs.

I have a perennial garden that is beautiful, but has been neglected a bit this summer. I love barbecuing and hosting family and friends in the garden.

I have a second home on the south shore of Long Island. When I am there, I spend part of every day at the ocean…my favorite place in the world.

I also love the great restaurants in NYC, especially Japanese, vegetarian and Macrobiotic restaurants.

I'm an artist by trade so much of my time is spent painting while listening to music. I'm also an avid cyclist, both on and off-road. I was lucky enough to have the time this summer to complete one of my bucket list to-do's of putting in 1000 miles over the summer months. I'm also a beer lover, although my wife would say beer-snob! Brewing is a huge industry in my area and I enjoy trying as many different types as I can.

I also am a coach-pitch coach on my sons Baseball team. The older I get, the better I was as a youth player. :)
Youth Baseball is so competetive now it's hard to step in as a child unless you played from day one, T-Ball. We have great kids and I have a blast! Winning helps...

I like nature, live bands, MACRO, abstract photography, I'm a wedding photographer by profession. I like to play on my XBOX 360, play MechWarrior online. I also enjoy working in my woodshop and RVing. One more thing, watching movies!

Biking, yoga and running and really love to cook.
My wife thinks I spend too much time being thankful I still have more hair on my head than on my ears.( my dad was bald by age 21)

Nice !! Very interesting . In thinking about this thread I realized I must be getting old. Lol!!
My hobbies used to be skiing, surfing , golfing, biking, rock climbing, hiking. Now after a ankle injury and a more recent shoulder injury . it's woodworking, boating, fishing, gardening, messing around on a guitar.listening to music and record shopping. None of which are very physical. Which now that I see them written down accounts for the extra 30lbs im carrying around these days. Lol.
Btw I'm also a chef , near 30 years of experience in hotels and restaurants from Maui to Maine ,
I'm presently consulting on a new restaurant that is getting ready to open. And I'm wondering why I have never took the step to open up my own. I think that might be next. It about time.

I like sitting. Although walking is good too.

Mostly I like quirky weird stuff.

I like cars (on my way to SEMA right now), photography, flying, hockey and college football.

I powertumble, take care of three (small) kids, a wife, and a dog, and work on my own site when I am not doing my masters bidding in my day-job.

I In-Line Skate in the nicer weather. I Cross Country Ski in the snow and also Snow Shoe.

I have been doing an big Organic Garden for a few years.

Love to hike, cook, eat, and sample as many Craft and Micros and Belgian Ales as I can.

Very interesting stuff! We have a real diverse and interesting crowd. Lots of good cooks by the sounds of it too.
