I happen to be listening to this right now. And I think it's brilliant; but it was guaranteed, to garner a comment from my ex. :snicker:

She called it, "that crazy Train music"...and would get as far away as possible. It just got me thinking; do you have a title, that is guaranteed to drive your S/O up the wall, and/or out of the room?

Before my amp arrived there wasn't anything that would drive her away, now with solid power, if the volume creeps up past oh around 65 on the AVR she's gone as it's getting really loud at that point :)

Miles Davis, John Coltrane or anything I play repeatedly when tuning the system.

Ha; I did that too...with Joni's Court and Spark. I know that album, like the back of my hand; and I used to use it for "tuning", A/B...sampling tests, etc.

I once asked my lady, to help me with a blind. She must have had to listen to Raised on Robbery, like 100 times!

That's enough to acquit right there. :)

Jeez, Jazz drives ME out of my room.

As for my wife, it takes a good deal of pleading to get here to sit thru one track of anything in my room.

I am really fortunate that my wife and I like and listen to almost 100% the same music. We each may like one band a little more than the other, but there is not much I plat that she does not enjoy.

The night we met on a train, the first conversation was about music after we got the preliminaries out of the way...LOL
Me- "Do you know what time it is?" (i had been waiting for a girl to show up who never showed)
Her- "Do you have any papers?"

I was actually on my way to see a Jimi Hendrix/Led Zep movie pairing at the Tower in Philly (1977) and she was going on a date with someone her mom setup to see Up in Smoke.

So similar to how Hillary Clinton said it a few years ago....."We started a conversation about music in 1977, and we are still having it today"

Now on the other hand, I constantly get screamed out for Volume, and I constantly try to edge it up all the time when she is not looking. Then I tell her "Oh this disk or track is just louder than the last, I didn't touch the volume" :)

No S/O here unfortunately, but what drives me out of the room lightning quick is loud volume, Hip Hop/Rap, techno, that noise they call "country music" today (which is neither country nor music) and traditional opera.
