Close the evening out with Evanescence new album and Norah Jones's new live album.

And this is what happens when I put the vinyl away and playing around with my digital. By the way, the last three I do also have the vinyl but switching to digital for the night led me to some experimenting :).

I hope you enjoyed my evening adventure as much as I did!

City of the Sun

Hadn't heard this group before. Some fine opening tracks and pretty good MQA too.

Never heard of this band before, but pretty darn good music. Good quality recordings as well!

Check out this track. Outstanding! The whole album is pretty good but this is the standout.

recorded directly to tape -- this is the real stuff, not that pop-music-with-a-twang BS.

I just bought the new Evanescence album on vinyl........haven't heard it yet ............waiting on speakers.

It is pretty good. Typical Evanescence. First listen, songs you have never heard before; good bass, nice guitar licks, good beat, Amy Lee's beyond amazing voice... and the more you listen to it the more you find some songs running around in your head. And then you hear most of the songs all day in your head. Pretty much like all of their albums so far :).

I have all of their albums, and all but two (second album and the live album) also in vinyl.
