Wow. Not sure yet, but this may be their best effort yet. Just got this and running through it on main rig. Very well mixed, sounds excellent! Much different sound - prob due to a somewhat new line up which is surprising as I thought the drummer was Josh.
Has several hints of old Cure sounds. Oh and don't get "scared" by the cover misleading for non APC fans.
This is fairly "softer" than previous albums, freaking awesome comeback guys!
My original 1969 or 1970 release (It was recorded in '69). Sounds like new, except maybe not as dynamic, which I find amazing considering how many times I played this album way back then.
After listening to the last album, I remember now why Alvin Lee was called the fastest guitar in the West! This album was recorded in 1970 and is my original from way back then.
This one was also a 1970 album, though the writing on it is in Japanese. Don't know if it is a Japanese pressing, or not, nor do I remember when I bought it, but I suppose it was around 1970. Actually, I was stationed in Okinawa in '73 & '74, so I may have bought it there/then. I notice the price on the back is 3000 yen, which back then was about $7. It shares three songs from the previous albums, but has a bunch of other recordings. Recording quality seems to be on a par with the other two, but may be a bit better, in that background instruments are more present.
Graham Coxon – The End Of The F***ing World. UK pressing is flat and quiet and sound quality is superb - sounds analog. Blur guitarist Coxon comes out with a brilliantly crafted lofi, punk, folk album that is a joy to listen to. I think I will watch the Netflix series now.
