What are you listening to tonight ?

I've been on an Andy Timmons kick listening to various disks.

Quite nice, a bit of an Eric Johnson style. But I think Eric keeps the rhythm and the harmonics a bit better together.

I'm sure you have the 'Europe Live' album, but if not it's worth a listen.

Each disk he has sounds a little like someone else, including Eric, and Satriani. He does a whole Beatles Cover disk of all guitar that is enjoyable too.

With the loss of Riverside Guitarist Piotr Grudzinski last year, I thought the band would never recover. But they did. They are now touring again with another Prog Guitarist out of their home country of Poland. Maciek Meller is now playing Lead and recording with the reborn Riverside. He lacks a bit of the tone and fluidness of Piotr's playing, but is really good and appears more comfortable with his own music. So while researching who he was and where he came from, I stumbled on to this Polish Prog band. I realize this is a long concert, but both the video and sound is pretty good while the music and performance is awesome. They throw some nice covers into the mix with Red, Hush, and an encore of Wish You Were Here.

I am now loving Quidam

I hope some of you also enjoy some of this.
