Uuh, nice one. I went cheapie and picked up the German ATR version, which is supposed to be a tad better than the original Proprius.

But about that pressing user reviews are singing high praise, I have not heard it yet though. Anyway €170,- was too much for me for the good ol' Domnerus stuff, I have it in DSD.

Kick-ass, serious Turrentine, not bad at all. While it's Stanley on tenor sax, please note it is also Less McCann on the piano.

Stanley Turrentine: That's Where It's At, 33 rpm vinyl.

Dan, I decided to check how many albums Bill Frisell has made, since I have 8 to 10 by him and discovered he has 35 out under his name and has around 200(!) other albums on which he was featured or collaborated with others. Talk about prolific!

Steve.......Thanks for the information. I have five or six of his albums and a few where he is a major contributor. He plays guitar on the new Lucinda Williams - The Ghosts of Highway 20. One of my favorite Bill Frisell recordings is Good Dog Happy Man.

Inspired by the mention earlier today: Lucinda Williams: The Ghosts Of Highway 20, 33 rpm vinyl.

Frisell's guitar work is subtle, laying out a blanket of sound to complement Williams' storytelling.
