The New Basement Tapes - Lost On The River

After watching the Showtime special on the making of this album I had to pick it up. There are some great tracks along with a nice back story behind this album. Many tracks are based on some letters Bob Dylan wrote around the time of the famous Basement Tapes sessions.

Some real talent with Marcus Mumford, Elvis Costello, Rhiannon Giddens, Taylor Goldsmith, and Jim James.

Just one of many cool tunes.

This is one I just found about last evening listening to E-Street Radio. Roy Bittan the piano player for the E-Street Band has his first solo album one. Currently it only available as MP3 on Amazon or Itunes. The Amazon version has three additional tracks so I went that way. So far there a several good tracks.
