I don't use my headphones often, but there are always tracks where I would say, That would sound great with Headphones.

Steve Miller has always been known to add extra sound effects to his songs. Fading or switching speakers or going around the room.

Although there are plenty of great tracks, my personal favorite is Macho City, which is also crazy good with speakers.

What are your favorites?

I don't listen to headphones often. A Jean Michael Jarre album released a few weeks ago and the panning effects on it was something that has to be spectacular on headphones.

Was just listening to Sonny Landreth Port of Calling from the Grant Street album and got completely lost in the music.

The Chesky binaural recordings are all impressive. For most studio recordings I use crossfeed in ROON which really cleans up the presentation and makes the stereo image more stable and more like you’d experience listening to speakers. I use LCD-4’a and my new favorites ZMF Atrium open. Headphone amp is McIntosh MHA 200 with RCA tubes.

This has been a very nice listen on the HEKs. Very relaxing music, and well recorded.

Chesky binaural recording. Recorded in old church on a rainy day. There are parts where you can hear the rain. This and Melissa's pretty amazing voice!
