I have noticed that Wharfedale is probably the hottest speaker brand out there right now. It seems like not so long ago they were around but not that well known. Anyone know what happened? Like new representation? Maybe a new line, I'm not that familiar with what they had/have. It seems they are doing well at various price points. Audio Advise has them as well as another local dealer I need to get out to hear them. Not to buy just curious about them since they are sort of dominating right now. Maybe, it is, a certain price point.

Thought I throw this thought out to see if any of you noticed this as well or have any input. If you weren't aware, trust me, I see quite a bit of what gets recommended, purchased and used in the audio pages. If it was just recommendations I'd suspect bots or shills but many have purchased and use.

I remember them from the early 2000's. They were a pretty decent speaker back then. I bought a pair for my mom.

I'm going by foggy memory, but then they went through a phase of becoming more cheaply made and became pretty low-visibility in the US.

My impression is the last few years they have stepped up their game again.

I'm not saying this is right. Just my recollection.
