Hi Wisnon,
All of the Wells Audio amplifiers sound great with every speaker that we have experienced them with. The sound of the product is one of a very quiet backround with sound that is very full, rich dynamic, open, sweet and harmonically complete. Bass is deep with a weight to it that is very uncommon. This bass energy imbues even midrange and treble notes with a body counter to the usual solid state signature. Tonality of the sound is exceedingly tube like as has been described numerous times in reviews. Transients are very natural with a balance between rolled off and hifi type crispness. The sound of these amplifiers do not have any colorations strong enough to sound offensive or unbalanced with any speakers in our experience. The Innamorata and Akasha have been paired with Harbeths in shows and in home based systems to most beautiful result. Owners of Harbeths have been especially impressed by the bass with the Harbeths as many Harbeth owners are always looking for better bass response but it is the beauty and naturalness of the sound that seals the deal. The ultimate description of the sound of the amplifiers is of the "convergence" amp. One that has the best qualities of a tube and the best qualities of a solid state amplifier. I hope this helps. If you have any further questions please let me know.-Jeff
