Thx. As newer and more powerfull?
Personally i'm waiting on the SIA-030 integrated due around the end of the year which will be based on the SS-103 & SL-103.
I agree the SIA-025 is the warmest, most tube-like amp in VA's lineup (aside from the old SS-102). More so than the SM-011 mono's which are more neutral. The SIA-030 may just be a very good thing and woo you away from those sexy 300B amps...:skeptical:.i think in retrospect the SIA 025 was a real sweety in my system - and there was probably no need to change. Highlights that moving up the line even within the same brand doesn't mean your going to get more of the same.
I would say most likely yes as VA has enough manufacturing capacity to work on the dac module side by side the amp. No pricing yet. The dac module will be good.Melbguy1, I'm with you.I wonder if the DAC option will be available when it's released. It would be nice to get some pricing info...

...or maybe not! The SIA-025 is reminiscent of a good 300b amp in class A mode because of its warmth & the way the midrange is rich and nicely rounded, but of course it will never replace one. Then again, a 300b integrated or stereo amp will never replace what the Vitus does so wellelrog 845's - awesomeness

Hi Ken,Hi David,
Make sure you do an in-home demo of the SIA-030 before you upgrade from the SIA-025. You wouldn't want to lose any of that warmth the SIA-025 is famous for.
Best,
Ken

I found this from the Stereophile review of the Sabrina:-
My estimate of the Sabrina's voltage sensitivity on the tweeter axis was 88.2dB/2.83V/m, slightly higher than the specified 87dB. Wilson specifies the Sabrina's electrical impedance as 4 ohms, with a minimum magnitude of 2.53 ohms at 139Hz. My measurement of the impedance is shown in fig.1: the value (solid trace) varies between 4 and 6 ohms between 250Hz and 4kHz, and the minimum magnitude is 2.44 ohms at 135Hz. However, there is also a combination of 4.44 ohms and a capacitive phase angle of –58° at 72Hz, a frequency where music can have considerable energy; this will place a significant demand for current on the partnering amplifier.

This impediance drop out at 139Hz can present problems for the partnering amplifier.
