Received a text from my eight year old granddaughter a few moments ago, to not forget to come to her school this morning for their Veteran's day celebration. A bunch of us vets will stand up on stage while the kids sing a song. My granddaughter says, "It's the song that makes everyone cry." Gotta go now, can't disappoint her.

It's veteran day in Canada too and I think the rest of the world so I want to share this little video from a kid in Belgium saluting Canadian troops on their way to a memorial.

We had remembrance day where I live & as in the 11th hour on the 11th it was honoured. The radio stations that have been around for some time all went off air for 1 minute, I thought that was a pretty neat gesture, it'll never make it better, but it does acknowledge. Lest we forget...
