I just received confirmation that the young lady who lives across the street from us has been invited to represent the US in this years Olympics in Slopestyle Snowboarding. In the five qualifying events that ended this past weekend she ended up tied for second in points and received the invitation this evening. Our neighborhood has been following her journey for some time now and are proud of her accomplishments.

It is hard to believe that the little 6 year old that used to ask to walk our dogs has come so far.

Congratulations to Karly Shorr and all of the US Team.

Very cool Jim; tell her that Bob is very proud of her. :) ...And the best luck to her at the 2014 World Winter Olympics.

* I'm going to remember her name; Karly Shorr, so that when Snowboarding (Slope-style) for women is on, I'll be checking for her on my screen. ...And also our Canadian Snowboard men and women athletes at them World Winter Olympics in Russia, in just few weeks.

...In 4K and in 3D?

In action...
