Upgrade costs for MX-R mono to twenty version

Hi all,

Looking at a set of monos MX-R. Would want to upgrade to lastest version if I grabbed them..
As title says I was hoping to find out the costs involved. I tried emailing Ayre but no reply [emoji52]

Appreciate any feedback

Hi, I upgraded my KX-5/ VX-5 to twenties and have a friend who did it for the MX-Rs. In Europe it is the price difference between the old version and the /20 upgrade, i.e. for the MX-Rs roughly 15-20K.

That seems reasonable and makes sense.. Not sure what our local pricing is so I will make enquiries.

If I am not mistaken, here in the US it costs $9K (total for both) to upgrade MXR amps to MXR-20's.

I will go on record here and state that my MXR-20's are simply the best amps that I've ever owned. I absolutely love them and these are the ones that will NEVER leave my hands. To my ear, they do what I love and sound so musical.

My destination amps for sure.
