YW. Recent Magico models seem to sound very good straight out of box, but they should open up, congeal & cohere a bit more by 400hrs, with some more minor changes/improvement in the following 200hrs, all of which should be very enjoyable.

Mine are 103/104 if I'm not mistaken and I ordered them before the European price was even announced. So they're selling like hot cakes I guess - at least that's what I'm told.

My wife commented this evening: "Why did you not order the bronze color in the first place, they look much better. Then you would not have had to swop." [emoji3]

Discussing the technical differences was not as straight forward.

SPOD for those S3Mk2 might be the next upgrade tweak. I put SPOD under my Q3 which upped the level of refinement. Well worth the purchase price.

Magico did a magnificent job with the S3, and they did it again with the S3 mk2.

Real world example what an adrenaline kick in can do for a human being :-)
Kuoppis - I wish you many many hours of wonderful time with your new toys! ;-). I can give you a hand when you swap them one day for M6 - gee I'm thinking maybe they could name them Mi6 due to their obvious disappearing capabilities (sound wise) :-)

Thank you Golum, I am already enjoying them a lots. Frankly speaking a bigger difference compared to the mk1 than I would have thought.

I had Mcast Bronze S5, and while they sounded great, I did not really care for that color. Now with the S5 MKII in Mcast Rose, I have the best S series speaker in the best color. :)
