The Uncountable Kings (the relatively new Billionaires of the world) who find themselves in all kinds of positions of making decisions that effect the entire civilization in one way or another... they exist and keep growing in power no matter who the president or the administration is. From silencing and banning people from speech to controlling the popular views and suppressing others, to political bias and media control, to even the life saving vaccines that the US taxpayers have largely paid for? Buying up farmlands, trying to block out the sun, control population numbers of various poor countries, deciding who has how many kids... Left unchecked, would not take a rocket scientist to figure out the power quickly grows out of control and will ultimately result in a conflict that will be difficult to resolve peacefully (as history has taught us many times)

Don’t know and don’t care about Gates political affiliation. But the video that you posted is typically associated with the far-right conspiracy theory political spectrum. Enough said.

Is that so? According to your own political bias meter? Well, it is way off.... Just because you are not informed on the topic but don't like the way it sounds, doesn't mean you should be throwing your "conspiracy theory, far-right" from your far left....

Interesting that a Billionaire gets to decide who should or should not manufacture vaccines? Shouldn't that be left up to health experts and governments to figure out? But the question has always been about making a "profit" first and foremost and it is no different this time around....

Probably some truth in what Gates says.

It makes me ask, why not get his claws into India's vaccine facility profits. Seems like his ability to influence, control and take profits would have hugh upside cutting a deal there. Did they say no, or is he truthful. Or does he have little actual control over what is actually happening with vaccine production.
 
If you watch his body language, it says he's lying. Kind of surprises me he was not more coached. His handlers should have him well trained in regulation of body language.

80% of pharmaceutical supplies in the US are from China.

We don’t seem to have a problem putting trust into a communist country to make our drugs but Gates has a problem with state of the art facilities in India?

Please, he is treating the vaccines like a monopoly like he treated Microsoft when it was broken up
 
You know, that's a good point. I watched a 60 minutes some years ago where they created a full on fear piece that most all are pharmaceutical were made in China. And as I remember, the American owner were not allowed to see what was going on in the plant.

I have no idea where they are making our Corona vaccine.

Well our state of the art facility in Baltimore ruined 15 million doses of J&J Jansen so it can happen anywhere. One thing for sure, they are investing into plants in Germany and other places to manufacture 750 million doses (Pfizer) a year. Which means they are here to stay with their yearly boosters… This was never going to be one and done.
 
Owe goodness no it's not going away. This is an our lifetime flu vaccine money grab. I bet it goes on for 10 to 15 years. Each year a special blast of news hype to drive the fear. If that doesn't work, lobbying to make it required.

When this first happened, I believe there was true animosity in our government for China. I believe it is turning into reverence and thanks now. Corona handed more wealth and power to our legislators than any other catastrophe, in my lifetime, I can think of.

One thing about communists is they play very different strategy games without the need for a direct military conflict. May want to read this three part article. It makes a lot of sense and is written by a very intelligent journalist from India from his perspective.

I will read it. But I have seen pleanty to know, communism will eventually take the entire planet. It can't but not succeed. By its design it will triumph. Authoritarian rule will always win.

Think about it. 50 people can sit in a room, strategize and execute a plan. A billion citizens have no way to develop a cohesive approach. Add to that the billion people rely on the 50 peoples control of media and communication to gather and disseminate information. Its impossible for democracy to continue. Just look at today. A president of the USA is blocked from disseminating his views and political ideology. We may see democracy fall in our lifetime. It's close to over now. It may go down in a bloody flurry, but it will end.

That’s the communist “long game” I mentioned above. It’s not like the ex KGB agents that defected did not describe the tactics in great detail to warn the US starting in the 80’s about the “ideological subversion”

The seeds have been planted long ago and we are reaping what has been sowed. A country is only as strong as the “unity” of its citizens and we are anything but United and that has been the plan all along.

Out of the 5 communist countries left standing today, China, North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam and Laos, only China is of any real stature, power of influence and interest. I'm not sure how their supreme leaders will view personal recreation once they take over the world but perhaps given enough "social credit" for good behavior, one would be able to indulge in a bit of music listening on a portable device and earbuds...

But in all seriousness, there is plenty of engineering talent in China capable of designing and manufacturing anything they want for virtually any market if they were to be taken more seriously.
