Has anyone used the 6H6P/6n6P tubes in the VK-D5SE? I've read that you can and I've also read that you can but shouldn't. I'd like to find tubes with a better top end than the Sovtek 6H30P that are in it, or the Electro-Harmonix 6H30Pi. According to Kevin Deal they're both the same tube. There's no way I can afford the oem 6H30P-DR that came with it from the factory. I figure most, if not all, of them are fakes by now and the prices are crazy expensive. I'd appreciate any info on the 6H6P/6N6P tubes, good, bad, or indifferent.
