Has anyone ever listened to the Music Culture speakers. There are only two models, a floor standing and a stand mounted model. They are by Wolfgang Meletzky, the former designer and owner of MBL. After he sold MBL he started Music Culture, again hand made in Germany.

A friend has loaned these to me.... he may not get them back

they certainly look like they've got the pedigree with that name behind them Randy. got the good looking thing going on too

I have been listening to them over the past couple days. I would say initially not a slam dunk over the KEFs.... But the more I listen and compare the more the subtleties really come out. More air around instruments, smoothness, natural sounding. A more defined image, and the sound stage is excellent (no surprise there, the MBL line is all about sound stage). I have to say they are very much growing on me. My friend told me they are even better on the stands that go with them. So far I have been using my stands because the other ones are very hard to unpack and repack :)...

I remember seeing and hearing the RL21 at RMAF back I think in 2012. Nice performing speaker, use those stands that are made for it, just does the speaker right.

Thanks for the input Chris. It is nice to hear the opinions of people who have previous heard the speaker.

I've heard one model (floor stander) at 2 different shows, and it sounded good both times in a show hotel room.

Randy - how are the speakers sounding?

A couple of real good standmounts are the ELAC and if you can find a pair, the original Raidho C1.1's are fantastic....but I'm not sure of your budget.

Hey Mike,

I am loving them so far. To be real honest I am happy with the KEFs also. It is not like I have an real need to get a new speakers, just a buddy loaned me these and from research they seem to be something special. So I am checking them out :)... Was jsut wondering if anyone else was familiar with them.
