We first saw Yuja playing with the SF Symphony around 2007 or 8, playing the Prokofiev Second Concerto. She could play (and still can play) the technically most difficult stuff - look at her as a kid playing on You Tube - "Flight of the BumbleBee" is a good choice. She has been a protege of MTT (the SFS MD) and we saw saw her again the next two years with the SFS. At that time she dressed fairly demurely. The big shock was in London around 2010 or 11, when we went to a solo concerto. She wore a long skirt, but with a slit up the side - really far up - on the right side, facing the audience, with very high heels. The next time we saw her was with the SFS, and this time it was a miniskirt (no, really a micro skirt), again with very high heels. She could still play very well, but I don't remember exactly what she played. :-)
