I have spotify play as background music. It comes up with stuff I like that I star or stuff I don't I thumbs down.
If I really like something I find it on Qobuz. Then I land a song from an album I like in one of a few playlist. At times I go in the playlist and pick the album. Mostly I just drop somewhere in the playlist and let it go.
I also have a beat finder on my phone. When a radio station plays something I like I capture it. Then add it to Qobus.
I also photo a lot of album covers when at friends. Then find later.
I gave up mostly on new issue records. Qobuz is as good. I still buy $3 old classical. Maybe spend a little more if a older AAA jazz piece catches my attention
Occasionally I go into share threads on whats playing now. I try things people suggest. If I like it, there you go. Generally that means I take 1 or 2 songs and dump them in my playlist
After all that, I still have 20 or so albums i like a lot and play them when I'm ready to really chill and listen.
