I have too many TT's, need to thin out the list a bit.:rolleyes:

Turntable List:

JVC QL-5 works
AR-XA (2) works
SL-QD33 (2) works
Luxman PX100 works
Sony PS-4300 works
Pioneer PL-550 works
Thorens TD-166MKII works
Philips 406 (2) (1) working
Garrard 82 Needs idler wheel. Plays manually
Sansui L-50 (2) (1) works
Technics SL-1300MKII Plays manually, cueing needs repair.
Akai AP-Q80C Plays Manually
Akai AP-Q50 works.
Sony PS-5550 Needs to be serviced.
Pioneer PL-112D working.
Pioneer PL-10+ Works. Sansui tonearm.
Panasonic SL-N15 (2) (1) works.
JVC QL-A200 works.
Dual 1219 (2) need service.

And a few more….

The ones that work were repaired and serviced by me of course.:D

Well there's 19 on your list (plus a few more you say!). I'd say you're the pack leader of turntables here, just edging out Jeff! I think it's as I suspected, hunkered down in a bomb shelter in the desert playing around with stereo equipment, drinking Heineken! :woot:

I not saying there's anything wrong with that of course...:peace:

So do you sell these occasionally to get new ones in to work on? Or do you keep filling your shelves with them?

John - which table has surprised you the most for its overall build quality and sound quality? I would guess the Thorens would be right up there, but you have some other gems as well.

Pioneer PL-550, built like tank and is quiet as a church mouse. I do not have an original cover and there still are a few cosmetic things but, all in all it ranks up there with the Thorens. And the AR-XA's of course..LOL. :)

That pioneer is an awesome machine..rivaled the Marnatz 6350...definitely TOTL for the era
