Trade days?

Today we can start you with producing Chilean SeaBass in a 34 degree wet fish plant.

I hope those are easier than most assemble type furniture. If not, and, if it was me, I'd be in critical mass. Scotty would be saying, "but captain, he's about to blow!" LOL

Making progress. Easy to assemble. Two people helps.

Mike - The CMS racks are great looking! Looking forward to your comments on their performance. Thx!

Thanks Mike. It’s truly amazing the improvement in sound a good quality rack makes. It’s immediately noticeable.

i switched from a Finite Element rack to a CMS Maxxum rack and the improvement to the sound quality was nuts. Cant rate their products highly enough.

I just ordered two of the exact same racks with Mike, and put them together a few days ago. I think Mike copied me... haha

I got them built, hooked everything back up and gave it a listen... It took maybe 60 seconds to hear the substantial difference. I ended up sitting there for an hour wondering if I had somehow hooked up my system differently... Nope - these racks really do deliver and they cleaned up my small listening room in pretty much every way. Very happy with the purchase so far. Thanks Mike!

Rick and I put them together and sat back and listened. Nothing else in the system changed. We couldn't believe the difference. I became a big believer after that.

What's the retail price on the 3 tier? I only see prices for the 4 tier online. How wide are the shelves?

It all depends on overall height, plus level of shelf. There are four levels of shelves. I went with stock ($125) on the bottom, then black Sapphire ($995) in the middle and then black Platinum ($1995) on top. There is a Diamond level shelf above that. You could be anywhere from $3600 - $10,000+ depending on overall height and grade of shelf.

The black platinum shelf was so heavy (and thick) it takes two people just to lift it. I can't imagine the level of shelf (diamond) above it.

What I found was that Critical Mass was excellent in making shelf grade, size, etc. recommendations and renderings for each individual component.

Hello Mike,

Very nice rack. Congrats.
BTW, your choice and setup of the 3 Avid turntables is superb.
