I recently upgraded my 1998 32” CRT TV to a 65” Sony XBR900F. However, I still have the Comcast digital to analog cable device since my old TiVo only records analog. Today I received an email saying TiVo will be canceling service for these old models in September, and I should upgrade.

Anyway, my question is what hoops do I have to jump through to get Comcast to work with the new Tivo. Do I need some cable box, etc.

Bud - I don't have any first hand experience with the TiVo Bolt VOX, but looking at its product page it shouldn't be too difficult. They don't list Comcast as having any issue (some other providers are) and from their setup instructions it seems that you'd just have to call Comcast to get a suitable CableCARD. Looks like a pretty straightforward hookup assuming it all works as they show. Good luck and hope this helps!

Thanks. I also saw that, but for some reason, my attitude with Comcast is there always seems to be some issue. :)
