Tidal with Naim App

I recently picked up a Naim 272 preamp and 250 DR power amp. So far so good. For those of you who stream Tidal through your preamp natively, does it play MQA? It doesn’t look like it. Either way, do you prefer using the native Tidal connectivity in the preamp or using a separate DAC through the preamp?

Awesome! 272 is an old bird, but she sounds great. No MQA. That’s a GREAT pairing. Enjoy.

272 remains a gem in Naim's lineup. If you have the funds, the external power supplies bring a LOT! XPS2 minimum, preferably 555, but that 555 is not cheap. But proven to really provide significant uplift.
